Roger Federer is back at Wimbledon.
The Swiss legend arrived at The All England Club on Monday morning and will watch the day's play from the Royal Box, continuing a tradition of returning to SW19 each year since retiring from professional tennis in 2022.
Federer, a record eight-time Wimbledon champion, also attended the second Monday of The Championships last year, when he watched his great Lexus ATP Head2Head rival, Novak Djokovic, compete in the fourth round.
Centre Court's schedule on Monday features Grigor Dimitrov, Arthur Fery, Jiri Lehecka and Alexander Zverev. Federer is joined in the Royal Box by former Swiss professional triathlete Olivier Bernhard.
Federer won eight of his 20 major singles titles at Wimbledon, including an Open Era-record — alongside Bjorn Borg — of five consecutive crowns from 2003-07. The former No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings last competed at The Championships in 2021, when he reached the quarter-finals before losing to Hubert Hurkacz.
