This is Fabian Marozsan: Why the Hungarian likes The Rock & Jason Statham

This time one year ago, Fabian Marozsan had never played a tour-level match. Now the Hungarian is a proven commodity on the ATP Tour and inside the Top 50 of the PIF ATP Live Rankings.

Marozsan, who is into the Miami Open presented by Itau fourth round, has reached at least the Round of 16 at all four ATP Masters 1000 events he has played. ATPTour.com caught up with the 24-year-old to get to know him off the court.

If you could choose any three people to go to dinner with, who would they be and why?
Good question. Maybe one actor, it would be Jason Statham. I really like him.

What's your favourite Jason Statham movie?
The movie with Sylvester Stallone. The Expendables. I really like that one. More action. I like cars. They don't have cars in that movie, but I really like that one. Maybe the second person is Dwayne Johnson, The Rock. I'm pretty young, so I don't remember him before [he was an actor].

If you could switch places with anyone for a day, who would it be?
Maybe I don't want to change!

What's your favourite memory outside of tennis?
Maybe a holiday with friends. We spent a few days together and that was really good for me. It was in Turkey. It was pretty nice. We were much younger, maybe four, five, maybe six years ago. We had a lot of fun together. We are the same age. We played tennis every time. We knew each other, we grew up together, so that was great.

What is something interesting people might not know about you?
My personality. If they don't know me, if they're just watching the matches, they know that I'm playing with a poker face and they have no idea what I'm thinking or what I'm doing out of the court or what I am doing with the family and friends.

If you can achieve one thing in tennis, what would it be?
Winning a Grand Slam.

What was your pinch-me moment on Tour?
When I was Top 100 for the first time, probably. It was last year during the summer. That was a great moment for me, when I just realised that. I think it was a little bit before the US Open or during the US Open. That was the first time I was in the main draw and winning my first match at a Grand Slam, so that was a good moment.

What is the favourite city you have visited?
Probably Melbourne, Australia. I really liked that one. Just the city I really liked, it was good for me.

What is the coolest thing you've gotten to do because you're a professional tennis player?
Playing in the biggest stadiums. [My favourite] is probably Rome.
