Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic are on the entry list for the Miami Open presented by Itau, the second ATP Masters 1000 event of the 2026 season.
The hard-court event, which runs from 18-29 March at Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, is set to feature all Top 10 players in the PIF ATP Rankings. World No. 1 Alcaraz is aiming to recapture the trophy at the venue of his maiden Masters 1000 triumph in 2022.
The Spaniard’s great rival Sinner will be aiming to build on a stellar record in Miami. The Italian World No. 2 has racked up a 19-3 record at the event across four appearances so far, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index. Sinner has reached the championship match three times and lifted the trophy on his most recent appearance in 2024.
Meanwhile the 38-year-old Djokovic will return to an event where he has won a joint-record six titles (tied with Andre Agassi). The Serbian, who began 2026 by reaching his first major final since 2023 at the Australian Open, reached the 2025 Miami championship match before falling to Jakub Mensik.
Mensik, currently at a career-high No. 18 in the PIF ATP Rankings, will return to defend his title in south Florida, while Daniil Medvedev and Hubert Hurkacz are the other former champions on the entry list.
The #NextGenATP charge in Miami will be led by 19-year-old Brazilian Joao Fonseca, who memorably attracted huge crowds during his 2025 debut run to the third round. World No 77 Jan-Lennard Struff is the last direct entry in the initial player entry list.
