The semi-final lineup for the 2026 National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Montreal is set, with defending champion Ben Shelton and #NextGenATP star Rafael Jodar among those in action.
Shelton, the World No. 10 and defending champion, is the highest-ranked player remaining in the draw. The 23-year-old American takes on countryman Learner Tien after Jodar faces Brandon Nakashima in the first semi-final at the Canadian ATP Masters 1000 event.

Ben Shelton, Learner Tien, Rafael Jodar and Brandon Nakashima all feature in the 2026 semi-final lineup at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers. Shelton is playing in his second ATP Masters 1000 semi-final after winning the event last year, while Tien, Jodar and Nakashima are all into their first semi-final at this level.
Both of the Montreal semi-finals will take place on Wednesday, 12 August. Rafael Jodar, who is up to seventh in the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin, takes on Brandon Nakashima not before 6 p.m. local time. Learner Tien and Ben Shelton will then follow onto centre court in the second semi-final.

Rafael Jodar and Brandon Nakashima have not met before in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series. This will be their first meeting.
Learner Tien leads Ben Shelton 2-0 in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series, having triumphed in both their meetings in Mallorca in 2025 and Indian Wells this year.
Rafael Jodar has won one ATP Tour title. The 19-year-old Spaniard lifted the trophy in Marrakech earlier this year.
Brandon Nakashima has won one ATP Tour title. The American triumphed on home soil in San Diego in 2022.
Ben Shelton has won six ATP Tour titles, including three this year in Stuttgart, Munich and Dallas. The American lifted his first ATP Masters 1000 title at this event in Toronto last year.
Learner Tien has won two ATP Tour titles. The lefty triumphed in Metz last year and in Geneva in 2026.
