Rafael Nadal led the graduation ceremony for the 10th class of the Rafa Nadal School on Tuesday when 47 students from around the world celebrated the completion of their academic journey at the Rafa Nadal Academy.
Former WTA World No. 1 Anna Ivanovic joined Nadal in celebrating the graduates as they marked the end of an important chapter and prepared for the next stage of their academic and professional careers.
The Serbian, who reached World No. 1 and captured the 2008 Roland Garros title, follows a distinguished list of guests who have accompanied graduates in recent years, including Toni Kroos, Pau Gasol, David Ferrer, Ona Carbonell, Ricky Rubio, Iga Swiatek and Carlos Moya.
Addressing the students, Nadal reflected on the Academy’s commitment to combining sporting excellence with education and personal development.
“Tennis has always been a fundamental part of my life, and it is also part of this Academy’s DNA,” Nadal said during the ceremony. “It has taught us values that we consider essential: hard work, discipline, respect, resilience and the ability to get back up after every setback.”
Nadal also shared a message of encouragement with the graduates as they prepare for new opportunities and challenges.
“From today, you’ll take on new challenges and new opportunities,” Nadal said. “Some of you will have your path very clear, and others will still be discovering it. What matters is to always keep your curiosity, your desire to learn, and the attitude of continuing to improve.”

The 47 graduates leave the Rafa Nadal School having completed an educational programme built around academic excellence, critical thinking and values-based learning. Since its creation, the school has helped students pursue higher education opportunities around the world, including placements at leading universities through both academic and athletic pathways.
