Richard Gasquet headlines the Roland Garros wild cards, tournament organisers announced on Tuesday. The clay-court Slam will take place from 26 May-9 June.
Terence Atmane, Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Harold Mayot, Nicolas Moreno De Alboran, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, Alexandre Muller and Adam Walton also received main draw wild cards into the clay-court major.
Gasquet is set to compete at Roland Garros for the 21st time. The 37-year-old, who first played the tournament in 2002, owns a 29-20 record on the Parisian clay.
The former No. 7 player in the PIF ATP Rankings will play in the event for the 15th consecutive year. His best result came in 2016, when he reached the quarter-finals.
Atmane, Moreno De Alboran and Walton will compete in the Roland Garros main draw for the first time.
The qualifying wild cards were also released Tuesday, with #NextGenATP players Gabriel Debru, Thomas Faurel, Arthur Gea, Mae Malige and Theo Papamalamis included. The other qualifying wild card recipients were Clement Chidekh, Mathys Erhard, Antoine Escoffier and Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg.
