Jannik Sinner will aim to capture his fourth major title and first on clay when he leads the field as the top seed at Roland Garros, which begins on Sunday in Paris.
Sinner arrives at the major off the back of a run to the final in Rome, where he fell to Carlos Alcaraz in the title match. The No. 2 in the PIF ATP Rankings Alcaraz is the second seed, meaning he will not be able to face Sinner until the final.
The 22-year-old Spaniard is the defending champion, having beaten this year’s third seed Alexander Zverev in the final. American Taylor Fritz rounds out the top four seeds, while two-time champion Novak Djokovic is seeded sixth. The Serbian is chasing a record-extending 25th major.
Jack Draper (fifth), Casper Ruud (seventh) and Lorenzo Musetti (eight) complete the top eight seeds.
