Jannik Sinner arrives in Paris aiming to complete the Career Grand Slam. The Italian is on a 29-match winning streak, having captured titles at five ATP Masters 1000 events this season: Indian Wells, Miami, Monte-Carlo, Madrid, and Rome.
Novak Djokovic will be chasing a record-extending 25th major title, with previous Roland Garros triumphs in 2016, 2021, and 2023. Alexander Zverev will be targeting his first major crown, having been one set from the title in 2024.
The 2015 champion Stan Wawrinka and Frenchman Gael Monfils are both set for their final appearances in the draw. Monfils' best result at his home major came in 2008, when he reached the semi-finals.
Arthur Fils, at No. 19 in the PIF AT Rankings, is the highest-ranked French player in the draw. The 21-year-old won the ATP 500 title in Barcelona on clay in April and reached the semi-finals at the Masters 1000 event in Madrid earlier this month.
#NextGenATP players Rafael Jodar and Joao Fonseca, both 19, will look to continue their good clay-court form in Paris. Spaniard Jodar reached the quarter-finals in both Madrid and Rome, while Brazilian Fonseca made the last eight in Monte-Carlo.
