The semi-final lineup is locked in for the 2026 edition of Roland Garros, where a new major champion is guaranteed to emerge.
Both semi-finals in Paris will take place on Friday, 5 June, when second seed Alexander Zverev and Italy’s Flavio Cobolli are among those bidding for a place in the championship match.
Zverev, through to his 11th major semi-final, will face 26th seed Jakub Mensik, while Cobolli meets countryman Matteo Arnaldi in a clash between two first-time major semi-finalists.

Alexander Zverev, Jakub Mensik, Flavio Cobolli and Matteo Arnaldi have advanced to the Roland Garros semi-finals. Zverev, the No. 3 player in the PIF ATP Rankings, is the highest-ranked player remaining and the only Top 10 player left in the draw.
Semi-final action in Paris will take place on Friday, 5 June, with both matches scheduled on Court Philippe-Chatrier. Alexander Zverev faces Jakub Mensik at 2:30 p.m. CEST, while Flavio Cobolli and Matteo Arnaldi's clash is slated for not before 7 p.m.
Alexander Zverev came within one set of lifting the Roland Garros trophy in 2024 before falling to Carlos Alcaraz in a dramatic final. Now the German, a three-time major finalist, has another opportunity to capture the first Grand Slam title of his career.
The second seed has dropped just one set en route to the semi-finals and carries a 1-0 Lexus ATP Head2Head lead into his meeting with Mensik.
Flavio Cobolli and Jakub Mensik are both chasing a Top 10 breakthrough. Cobolli has climbed four places to No. 10 in the PIF ATP Live Rankings, while Mensik has risen 11 spots to No. 16.
If Cobolli defeats Arnaldi and advances to his first major final, he will guarantee his Top 10 debut when the rankings update on Monday. Even if Mensik goes on to win the title, the Czech would remain behind Cobolli in the PIF ATP Live Rankings should the Italian reach the final.

Zverev is the only remaining player in the draw with experience in a major final. The German reached the title match at the US Open in 2020, Roland Garros in 2024 and the Australian Open in 2025.
Cobolli, Mensik and Arnaldi are all competing in a major semi-final for the first time.
Zverev is the highest-ranked player still standing and the lone Top 10 player left in the field. Cobolli defeated World No. 6 Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-finals.
Cobolli and Arnaldi will contest the first all-Italian men’s major semi-final in history on Friday.
Both players are making their debut at this stage of a major, while their Lexus ATP Head2Head series is level at 1-1. Cobolli won their most recent encounter in the second round at Roland Garros last year.
