Jannik Sinner has earned a record 34 consecutive ATP Masters 1000 victories, dating back to Paris last October. The Italian clinched his 32nd straight win at the level in Rome against Andrey Rublev, moving past previous record holder Novak Djokovic, who earned 31 straight victories in 2011. The 24-year-old then moved to 34 victories after winning his sixth consecutive title at the level in Rome.

Out of Sinner's 34 wins, five have come against Alexander Zverev and the Italian did not drop a set in any of those matches. The 24-year-old defeated great rival Carlos Alcaraz on one occasion (Monte-Carlo final).

The Italian lost just three sets across the entire run, with Tomas Machac and Benjamin Bonzi both winning tie-breaks against Sinner. Daniil Medvedev won the second set in his semi-final with the No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings Sinner in Rome.
