Taylor Fritz was untouchable on serve during his title run at the BOSS Open in Stuttgart, where the American went unbroken across 43 service games — a feat that helped him win June’s fan-voted Stella Artois ATP Perfect Serve.
Dominance on delivery has been a theme for the 6’5” Fritz, who this season leads the ATP Tour in first-serve points won. The 27-year-old is third in aces this year, according to Infosys ATP Stats, trailing only Jakub Mensik and Reilly Opelka, respectively. Fritz beat Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and Corentin Moutet for June's Stella Artois ATP Perfect Serve.
The No. 4 player in the PIF ATP Rankings, Fritz raced through the Stuttgart field, crushing 45 aces across four matches. Fritz faced only four break points all week: two in his opening match and as many in the next round. Fritz then dispatched fourth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in the semi-finals and ousted Alexander Zverev 6-3, 7-6(0) in the ATP 250 final.
Fritz carried his momentum through a stellar grass-court swing, claiming his 10th career title in Eastbourne before breaking new ground at Wimbledon by reaching his first semi-final at the All England Club.
