On Wednesday, Auger-Aliassime will meet Cobolli and Berrettini will face countryman Arnaldi.
Zverev: The German, who is aiming to win his first major crown, is into the last eight in Paris for the sixth consecutive year. The 2024 finalist is one of just two Top-10 players remaining in the men’s singles draw, alongside World No. 6 Auger-Aliassime.
Jodar: Jodar is making his Roland Garros debut and is set to compete in his maiden Grand Slam quarter-final. The Spanish 19-year-old currently leads the Tour with 19 wins on clay courts this season, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.
Fonseca: Fonseca is into the quarter-finals at a major for the first time in his career. The 19-year-old, who stunned Novak Djokovic in the third round and former finalist Casper Ruud in the fourth round, is just the eighth Brazilian men’s singles quarter-finalist in Grand Slam history.
Mensik: Mensik is also set to compete in his first major quarter-final. With his fourth-round victory against former World No. 5 Andrey Rublev, the 20-year-old became the youngest Czech men’s Grand Slam quarter-finalist since Ivan Lendl in 1980.
Auger-Aliassime: The 25-year-old is into the last eight at the clay major for the first time in his career. With his fourth-round triumph, Auger-Aliassime became the first Canadian man to complete the set of quarter-finals at all four Grand Slam tournaments.
Cobolli: Cobolli, alongside Zverev, is one of only two players who have not been pushed to five sets at the tournament so far. Should Cobolli defeat Auger-Aliassime, the Italian will surpass Alexander Bublik to reach World No. 10 for the first time in his career.
Berrettini: Competing in his first Roland Garros since 2021 following a series of injury setbacks, the World No. 105 is the lowest-ranked man to reach the quarter-finals at the clay major since No. 125 Igor Andreev in 2007.
Arnaldi: Arnaldi will compete in a major quarter-final for the first time in his career. This fortnight in Paris, the Italian has spent 17 hours and 42 minutes to reach the last eight, one hour and 58 minutes longer than any other player has taken to make the quarter-finals at any major since the ATP Tour began recording match times in 1991.
