Former World No. 5 junior began 2024 season as No. 485, then broke inside Top 300 in June and Top 200 in July, achieving career-high No. 123 in May 2025.
Made tour-level debut at 2021 Davis Cup (d. Troost) and advanced to his 1st ATP Tour QF in Gstaad, becoming first Swiss quarter-finalist at that event since Wawrinka in 2013.
Defeated compatriot Riedi to play in final qualifying round at 2024 US Open (lost to Halys in 3 sets), before defeating Wu Yibing to qualify for 2025 US Open and make his Grand Slam main draw debut.
Owns 48-29 Challenger record (2-0 in finals), defeating No. 70 Nishioka in 2R en route to 2024 Prostejov title as No. 444-ranked Q and saving 7 MPs vs. Topo en route to 2024 Zug title on home soil.
