A three-time All-America (1987-89) at the Univ. of California-Irvine,
ranking No. 5 in singles and No. 13 in doubles his senior year in the final
collegiate tennis rankings. In addition to his three-time All-America honors
in singles, earned doubles honors his senior year.
Named the I.T.C.A./Volvo Tennis "Senior College Player-of-the-Year" in
1989 and "Athlete of the Year" at Cal-Irvine.
