    • Began playing at age 3 with his family.

    • Started working with 1 of hiscurrent coaches, Justin Sherring, at age 6. Also credits Louis Cayer for helping him improve.
    • Played college tennis at University of Memphis from 2011-14. Graduated with degree in economics.
    • Left Memphis as Tigers' all-time leader with 97 career doubles wins.
    • Never ranked on ITF Junior Circuit and hardly played prior to college due to mononucleosis and injuries.
    • Kept dream of playing professionally and winning Wimbledon.
    • Favourite shot is overhead smash, surface is grass, tournament is Wimbledon and city on tour is Melbourne.
    • Grew up idolising Roger Federer.
    • Played many sports as a child. Supports Fulham F.C.
    • Favourite superhero is Batman, movie is Gladiator and TV show is Friends.

    • Favourite book is The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.
    • Enjoys playing golf and backgammon.
    • Favourite food is roast dinner, but guilty pleasure is chocolate.

    • Says his best and worst quality is competitiveness.
    • Supports Rackets Cubed, which runs integrated tennis, squash, education and nutrition programmes for inner-city children in Great Britain.

    • Became 2nd British doubles World No. 1 on 4 April 2022 – exactly 6 years after countryman J. Murray became 1st British doubles World No. 1 on 4 April 2016.
    • Went 11-0 at 2021 US Open alongside Ram in men’s doubles and Krawczyk in mixed doubles, becoming 1st player to sweep both titles since B. Bryan in 2010.
    • Extended US Open men's doubles win streak to 20 matches overall by defending title w/Ram in 2022 and 2023, becoming first duo to win three consecutive titles at that event since Bundy/McLoughlin in 1912-14.
    • Also won 2020 Australian Open men’s doubles title w/Ram, 2021 Roland Garros mixed doubles title w/Krawczyk and Nitto ATP Finals titles w/Ram in 2022 and 2023.
    • Never ranked on ITF Junior Circuit and hardly played due to mononucleosis and injuries before competing at University of Memphis from 2011-14.
