    • Broke into Top 100 following run to 2019 Winnipeg Challenger final and achieved career-high No. 92 after reaching 2019 VancouverChallenger 3R.
    • Earned 1st ATP Tour win and reached 1st QF, SF and final at 2019 New York as Q, beating Johnson in 2R after saving 2 MPs and falling to Opelka in final after saving 5 MPs.
    • Owns 0-14 career record besides his run at 2019 New York (4-1), including 1R losses at ATP Masters 1000 Canada in 2014 as Q, 2017 as WC and 2019 as WC.
    • Also still seeking 1st Challenger title after reaching finals at 2018 Playford, 2019 Newport Beach, 2019 Winnipeg and 2019 Charlottesville.
    • Ended junior career by beating future ATP No. 7 Rublev en route to 2013 Canadian Open title, then became 3-time All-American at University of North Carolina.
