    • Former Top-20 junior broke into Top 100 in time for 2022 year-end rankings, then earned career-high No. 43 in April 2024 after defeating No. 6 Rublev for biggest win of career en route to 1st ATP Masters 1000 QF in Miami.
    • Defeated former champion Sock en route to 1st ATP Tour QF at 2023 Houston.
    • Earned 1st Top 20 win over No. 17 Tiafoe en route to 1st Grand Slam 3R at 2024 Australian Open.
    • Representing Czech Republic, defeated Sousa to reach 2020 Tokyo Olympics 2R (held in 2021) and beat both Gasquet and Evans during 2021 Davis Cup Finals.
    • Boasts 110-54 Challenger record (6-5 in finals), including back-to-back titles at Orleans and Mouilleron le Captif in October 2023.
    • Says that his favourite sports team is Chicago Bulls and his hero is Michael Jordan, who played his last game as a Bull in 1998 – 2 years before Machac was born.
