Started playing tennis at age 3… Father, Sean Sorensen, is a former professional player who competed at 1977 Wimbledon (l. to Laver in 1st RD) and finished runner-up to Mats Wilander at an ATP Challenger Tour event in Buchholz, Germany, in February 1982… Mother, Helga, has both Norwegian and Austrian blood… Has one brother, Kevin, a former player, and two sisters, Lisa and Josephine... Has a 10-2 singles record in Davis Cup, having made his debut in July 2005... Trains at Top Tennis Stuttgart in Germany and is coached by his brother Kevin.
