    • Started playing tennis at age three, hitting backhands in the garage.
    • Father, Erik, is a lawyer and played college tennis at the University of Redlands, where he was a three-time All-American.
    • Mother, Sondra, is a retired teacher and played college tennis at San Diego State University, where she earned the prestigious Arthur Ashe Award for Leadership and Sportsmanship in 1989.
    • Says his mother has inspired him the most: "She taught me how to play and I was hitting with her almost every day until I was 15 or 16. My earliest tennis memory was when I was four and it started raining and I was crying to her because I couldn't play."
    • Brother, Jake, is three years older.
    • Favourite surface is hard and shot is backhand.
    • Favourite tournament is Wimbledon and city on tour is Paris.
    • Believes that winning the 2022 Wimbledon boys' doubles title, with countryman Sebastian Gorzny, has had the biggest impact on his young career: "Holding a Wimbledon trophy, even juniors, was super cool for me. I never thought that would happen. By far my favourite moment in tennis."
    • Tennis idol is Gael Monfils.
    • Enjoys playing basketball and is a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers.
    • Favourite athlete is Lionel Messi.
    • Favourite book is Harry Potter, movie is Star Wars, TV show is Family Guy and actor is Tom Cruise.
    • Guilty pleasure is 'sweets'.
    • Favourite school subject is history.
    • Says his best quality is that he's 'caring' and worst quality is being 'too competitive'.

    • Broke inside Top 50 in August 2024 and achieved career-high No. 30 in July 2025 after defeating former finalist Tsitsipas en route to 1st Grand Slam 4R at Australian Open earlier in the season.
    • Earned 1st ATP Tour win and reached 1st QF, SF and final at 2023 Newport, becoming youngest American ATP Tour finalist since Fritz at 2016 Memphis.
    • Also advanced to ATP Tour finals at 2024 Newport, where he held 1 MP vs. Giron, and 2024 Winston-Salem.
    • Defeated No. 9 de Minaur for 1st Top 10 win at 2024 Los Cabos, No. 10 Musetti en route to 1st ATP Masters 1000 QF at 2025 Toronto, and former champion No. 7 Fritz to reach 2026 ATP Masters 1000 Indian Wells 4R.
    • Reached ATP Masters 1000 doubles finals at 2024 Cincinnati w/McDonald after defeating him in qualifying and 2025 Shanghai w/Goransson.
