Achieved career-high No. 130on Apr. 10, 2017after reaching Sophia Antipolis, FRA Challenger 2R (l. to Kovalik). Joined #NextGenATP by breaking into Top 200 on July 11, 2016 after winning Longyan, CHN Futures title. Earned 1st ATP ranking point as 14-year-old on Apr. 15, 2013 after reaching Tsukuba, JPN Futures 2R as Q in pro debut (d. Miyazaki, l. to Shiga). Peaked at No. 3 in juniors on Mar. 24, 2014.
    • Milestones: Made tour-level singles debut during2017 Davis Cup Group I tie against Uzbekistan, losing to Istomin in 4 sets. Reached 1st Challenger final at 2016 Kaohsiung, TPE, falling to #NextGenATP countryman Chung. Owns 10-3 record in ITF Futures Circuit finals with 3 titles in 2016: Kofu, JPN (d.
