    • Nicknamed Menimal.
    • Parents, father, Michal; and mother, Katerina Mensikova; brother, Lukas.
    • Began playing at the age of 5 and had courts in front of the family house. He used to go there to see how children and adults were playing. He liked it and started practising with old coach Ivo Müller. He enjoyed the training sessions and says, "I fell in love with tennis through games and competitions."
    • Considers best shot as backhand down the line and favorite surface hard courts.
    • Favorite tournament is Australian Open and favorite city on tour is New York.
    • Tennis idol is Novak Djokovic and favorite athlete is Stephen Curry and team is Golden State Warriors.

    • Former World No. 2 junior broke into Top 100 in February 2025 and earned career-high No. 12 in March 2026 after defeating No. 2 Sinner for biggest win of career to reach Doha SF.
    • Defeated 6-time champion Djokovic in 2025 Miami final to become the fourth man in series history to win 1st ATP Tour title at a Masters 1000 event and 1st Czech ATP Masters 1000 champion since Berdych at 2005 Paris.
    • Also in Miami, joined Alcaraz as only teenagers to earn multiple Top 5 wins in one event in this century.
    • Advanced to 2026 Roland Garros SF, becoming youngest Czech men’s Grand Slam semi-finalist in history.
    • Reached 1st ATP Tour QF, SF and final at 2024 Doha by defeating former champions Murray, No. 5 Rublev and Monfils, becoming 1st man born in 2005 or later to play in an ATP Tour final.
    • In tour-level debut, reached 3R at 2023 US Open as Q, becoming youngest man to reach Grand Slam 3R since Nadal at 2004 Aus. Open and youngest at US Open since Santoro in 1990, losing to Fritz on 18th birthday.
    • Also advanced to Grand Slam 3R at 2024 US Open, losing to Borges after holding 3 MPs, 2025 Australian Open, losing to Davidovich Fokina after squandering 2 MPs and 2025 Wimbledon before 1st Grand Slam 4R at 2026 Australian Open.
    • Captured 2nd ATP Tour title at 2026 Auckland, joining Adelaide champion Machac as the first Czech duo to win a men’s tour-level title in the same week since Lendl and Smid in July 1982.
    • Owns 33-22 Challenger record, winning 1st title at 2023 Prague-2 in May as No. 333-ranked WC.
    • Posted 85-28 record on ITF Juniors circuit, highlighted by reaching 2022 Australian Open boys’ singles final.
