    • Started playing tennis at age 6 when his mom fed him balls at a local park.
    • Father, Andres; mother, Rosanna; sister, Gabriela.
    • Favourite surface is hard, shot is his forehand and tournament is US Open.
    • Idols growing up included Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and Roger Federer.
    • Played college tennis for UCLA from 2012-14, capturing 2014 NCAA singles title before turning pro.
    • Enjoys being outdoors and playing other sports, especially skiing and mountain biking.
    • Spent time at national parks such as Zion in Utah following 2020 season.
    • Fan of Los Angeles Lakers (NBA).
    • If he wasn't a tennis player, he'd be a doctor like his father because helikes helping people.
    • Underwent surgery on right hip in December 2015 and left hip in February 2016, missing1st 8 months of 2016 season.

    • One of 3 former UCLA Bruins to break into Top 50 during 2022 season (also Cressy, McDonald) and achieved career-high No. 37 in August 2024 after saving 1 MP in Newport final to win 1st ATP Tour title.
    • Advanced to 1st ATP Tour final at age 29 and in his home state of California at 2022 San Diego.
    • Qualified at 11 ATP Masters 1000 events and posted Top-5 upsets over No. 5 Ruud at 2025 Indian Wells and No. 4 Fritz at 2025 Rome.
    • Reached 2021 Roland Garros 3R after rallying from 6-2 6-4 5-1 down and saving 3 MPs vs. Dimitrov in 1R, as well as 3R of 2023 Roland Garros and 2025 Australian Open.
    • Won 2014 NCAA singles title for UCLA and broke into Top 100 in 2020 following right hip surgery in 2015 and left hip surgery in 2016.
