    • Served as a hitting partner at 2018 Nitto ATP Finals in London and says that he learned a lot from the experience.
    • Mentored by countryman and former World No. 3 Juan Martin del Potro.
    • Considers his coach, Sebastian Gutierrez, to be a father figure.
    • Began working with Gutierrez as a teenager in 2015 and says: "In tennis,it’s difficult to find a good person and a great professional as a coach. I am very proud to have hired him and to have him in my life. I hope to have more time with him and, why not, finish my career with him."
    • Stopped drinking Coca-Cola, eating ice cream and stringing his own racquets at the advice of Gutierrez.

    • Won a personal-best 3 ATP Tour titles in 2023 in Cordoba (d. Coria),Kitzbuhel (d. Thiem) and Winston-Salem (d. Lehecka) and achieved career-high No. 30 on 17 April.
    • Earned first Top 10 victory of his career over No. 8 Rublev in SF at 2022 Bastad before losing to countryman F. Cerundolo.
    • Defeated Ramos-Vinolas en route to 1st final at 2022 Santiago (l. to Martinez)and 1st title at 2022 Estoril (d. Tiafoe), as well as for 1st Grand Slam main draw win at 2022 Australian Open.
    • Captured 2nd ATP Tour title on home soil at 2023 Cordoba (d. Coria) after entering tournament with 6 straight losses and 17 losses in previous 18 matches.
    • Broke into Top 300, 200 and 100 in 2021, posting 6-3 record in Challenger finals to tie 4 other players for 2nd-most titles in a season behind Griekspoor’s 8 in 2021.
    • Became World No. 1 junior in March 2018 and went on to reach Roland Garros boys’ singles final and win boys’ doubles gold medal at Youth Olympics w/Diaz Acosta in his hometown of Buenos Aires.
