    • Began playing tennis at age 4.
    • Grandfather, Ludvik, was alpine skier at 1956 Winter Olympics.
    • Began playing tennis with encouragement of grandfather, who was inspired by tennis after retiring from skiing.
    • Mother, Bojana, and father, Aleksander, were also pro skiers.
    • Bojana was 3-time national slalom champion and participated in 1978 and 1982 World Championships.
    • Younger sister, Masa, is a national and European dance champion.
    • Idol growing up was Pete Sampras for his serve-and-volley game.
    • In 2006, played an exhibition match with Stefan Edberg in home town of Ljubljana.
    • Hobbies include playing golf, listening to music and going to the movies.
    • Underwent right foot surgery on 12 January 2016.

    • Achieved career-high No. 68 on 6 August 2012 after reaching London Olympics 2R. Fell as low as No. 452 on 11 July 2016 before reaching Winnipeg, CAN Challenger final. Broke back into Top 100 on 17 July 2017.
    • Four-time ATP World Tour quarter-finalist: 2011 Chennai, 2011 Belgrade, 2011 Bastad and 2013 Zagreb.
    • Advanced to Grand Slam 3R at 2013 Australian Open and 2014 US Open. Owns 1-27record against Top 35 opponents, posting biggest win of career over No. 33 Bellucci in 2013 Australian Open 1R.
    • Led ATP Challenger Tour with 50 wins in 2017, highlighted by titles at Winnipeg, CAN and Granby, CAN. Only tour-level win of season came over No. 885 Catarina in Davis Cup Group II tie.
    • Boasts 276-153 Challengerrecord overall with 16 titles in 27 finals.
