    • Full name is Robert Charles Bryan.
    • Two minutes older than his twin brother and doubles partner Mike.
    • Parents, Wayne and Kathy, are tennis coaches who began teaching their sons at age 2. Wayne is also a lawyer, musician, emcee, and 3-time World TeamTennis Coach of the Year. Kathy is a former player who competed at Wimbledon 4 times, reaching mixed doubles QF in 1965.
    • Did not own a television growing up.
    • Idolised Andre Agassi as kids and list other influences as Dick Gould, Jay Berger, Rick Leach, Luke & Murphy Jensen, Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde.
    • Brothers were forbidden by parents to play one another in junior tournaments. Alternated walkovers instead.
    • Won more than 100 junior doubles titles. Ranked No. 1 in U.S. Boys' 18s in 1996.
    • Played at Stanford University from 1997-98 and helped Cardinal to NCAA team titles both years. Bob achieved a rare "Triple Crown,"winning NCAA singles, doubles (w/Mike) and team titles in 1998.
    • At Stanford, students are not allowed to choose roommates. Bryans were given rooms on opposite sides of campus, but Bob brought a mattress to Mike's dorm and slept on floor.
    • Bob's dream opponent is Andre Agassi. Mike's dream opponents are Rod Laver and Ken Rosewall.
    • Threw out first pitch at New York Yankees games twice and at Los Angeles Dodgers games three times. Also rang opening bell at New York Stock Exchange in February 2006.
    • In November 2006, featured in "Doubly Delicious" section of People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" issue.
    • The Bryan Bros Band, with Bob on keyboards and Mike on drums and guitar, have held concerts at tournaments and charity events around the world.
    • Released "Let It Rip" EP at 2009 US Open, featuring David Baron. Performed with Counting Crows in October 2008 and during Arthur Ashe Kids' Day at 2010 US Open.
    • Favourite bands are Counting Crows, Dave Matthews Band and Maroon 5.
    • Hold annual Bryan Brothers Foundation event to raise funds for kids in Ventura County.
    • Joined legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus to host 3rd-annual Fore Love charity golf and tennistournament in December 2019, raising $1.2 million for Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation and Bryan BrothersFoundation.
    • Named ATP Doubles Team ofthe Year in 2003, 2005-07, 2009-14 and ATPTour.com Fans' Favourite Team in 2005-17 and 2019. Recipient of 2015 Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award.
    • Presented with 1st US Open Sportsmanship Award in 2012.
    • Served on ATP Player Council for 2006-08 term.
    • Wife, Michelle; daughter, Micaela; sons, Bobby Jr., and Richard "Richie" Charles.
    • Brothers retired from a match in 2018 Madrid final for onlytime in 1,467 tour-level matches as a team due to Bob's right hip injury, which required surgery on 2 August 2018.
    • Announced retirement from tennis on 26 August 2020 after winning last ATP Tour event at Delray Beach in February.

Mike has most weeks ever at No. 1 (506) and Bob has 2nd-most (439). At age 40, Mike became oldest doubles or singles No. 1 in ATP Tour history on 16 July 2018.
    • Winningest doubles team or singles player in Open Era with 119titles in 178finals. Only doubles team or singles player to sweep all 4 Grand Slams, 9 ATP Masters 1000 events, Nitto ATP Finals and Olympics. Qualified for ATP Finals in 17 straight years (2003-19), winning titles at Houston in 2003 and 2004, and at London in 2009 and 2014. Mike owns most doubles titles in Open Era (124) and Bob has 2nd-most (119). Mike won titles without Bob at 2002 Nottingham w/Knowles, 2002 Long Island w/Bhupathi, 2018 Wimbledon w/Sock, 2018 US Open w/Sock and 2018 ATP Finals w/Sock.
    • Twins boast 1,108-359record – most team wins in Open Era. Earned 1,000th team win in 2016 Vienna QF (d. Cuevas/Troicki). Mike owns most individual doubles wins in Open Era (1,150), while Bob has 2nd-most (1,109). Bob’s only match without Mike came in 2010 Davis Cup 1R w/Isner (d. Tipsarevic/Zimonjic).
    • Own all-time team records with 16 Grand Slam titles in 30 finals and 39 ATP Masters 1000 titles in 59 finals. Only team in Open Era to hold all 4 Grand Slam titles at same time: 2012 US Open, 2013 Australian Open, 2013 Roland Garros and 2013 Wimbledon. Made 76 Grand Slam appearances in a row as a team (1999-2018). Individually, Mike boasts most Grand Slam men's doubles titles of all-time with 18 and Bob is tied for 3rd with 16. Bob has 7 Grand Slam mixed doubles titles and Mike has 4. Bob is 3-2 vs. Mike in mixed doubles, including win in 2008 Wimbledon final w/Stosur (d. M. Bryan/Srebotnik).
    • Won gold medals at 2012 London Olympics and bronze medals at 2008 Beijing Olympics. Mike also won bronze in mixed doubles at 2012 London Olympics w/Raymond. Went 4-0 in 2007 to lead USA to Davis Cup title.
