    • Began playing tennis aged five when he substituted for his older sister Elana during her tennis lesson while she was sick.
    • Aged nine, Wong started playing overseas, winning junior events in China.
    • Wong’s parents both work in education — his father Bruce is a principal while his mother Dora is a teacher.

    • Qualified at 2025 US Open to become 1st man playing for Hong Kong to feature in Grand Slam main draw in Open Era and first since Ip and Tsai at 1954 Wimbledon, becoming first man from Hong Kong to reach Grand Slam 3R.
    • Defeated No. 14 Shelton for 1st Top 20 win to reach 2025 ATP Masters 1000 Miami 3R and advanced to ATP Tour QFs at 2026 Hong Kong and 2026 Delray Beach.
    • Owns 77-60 Challenger record (1-5 in finals), reaching finals at 2023 Shenzhen (Luohu), 2023 Playford, 2024 New Delhi, 2024 Lincoln and 2025 Seoul before 1st title at 2026 Jiujiang.
    • Became Hong Kong's second ever junior Grand Slam winner in any discipline (Patricia Hy - 1983 Wimbledon girls’ doubles), winning boys’ doubles titles at 2021 US Open w/Westphal and 2022 Australian Open w/Kuzuhara.
