    This doubles specialist made his best Grand Prix singles showing in 1987
    at Lyon, upsetting Thierry Tulasne en route to the quarterfinals. Later in
    the year he teamed with Michael Fancutt to win his first G.P. doubles title
    at St. Vincent.
    He played collegiately at Auburn University and earned a degree in
    Speech Communications.
    Earned a career-high $30,751 and finished No. 214 on the ATP computer
    singles rankings in 1987. He was No. 131 in doubles.
