- Earned personal-best 37 wins in 2025 and captured titles in Halle, Gstaad, Kitzbuhel and Hangzhou, joining Djokovic and Alcaraz as only men to win titles on clay, grass and hard courts in a season this decade.
- Upset No. 9 de Minaur from 2 sets down and No. 6 Draper en route to 2025 Roland Garros QF, becoming 1st man representing Kazakhstan to become Grand Slam quarter-finalist.
