Lists his grandfather as his hero because "he was an honest man with great values."
Lifelong coach has been Simone Tartarini. Considers him as his 2nd father and does not think he'll ever change coaches.
Lived with group of 5 friends that he's had since age 8. "Theyare my first fans after my family," says Musetti."We shared a lot of great memories, vacations and holidays together and they are my support for every day, even in the bad days."

Former World No. 1 junior broke into Top 20 in 2023 and Top 10 in May 2025, earning career-high No. 5 in January 2026 after posting personal-best 45 wins and making his Nitto ATP Finals debut in 2025.
Defeated 19-year-old Alcaraz in 2022 Hamburg final at age 20, marking youngest ATP Tour final since 2005 Bastad (19-year-old Nadal d. 19-year-old Berdych).
Upset Tokyo gold medallist No. 4 Zverev en route to bronze medal at 2024 Paris Olympics, earning 1st Olympic singles medal for Team Italy in tennis since 1924.
Did not drop a set en route to 2nd ATP Tour title at 2022 Naples, defeating countryman and United Cup teammate Berrettini in final on home soil.
In 2025, reached 1st ATP Masters 1000 final in Monte-Carlo and advanced to SFs of Madrid and Rome to becoming first Italian to reach all 3 clay ATP Masters 1000 and Roland Garros SF in one season.
