Started playing on clay with father … Favourite event is Bastad… Favourite surface is hard court… Graduated cum laude from SMU, where he finished No. 1 in the national indoors doubles and reached the NCAAS final as a freshman in 2001… Was also a four-time all American while at SMU (3 doubles, 1 singles)… Father Klas is a landscape designer and mother Cathrine works in a health store… Brother Jesper (born ’87) plays junior tennis winning the Under 16 nationals in Sweden… Sister Karolina (born ‘75) played college in US under scholarship at Shorter College and is now an art designer, having worked for the Swedish Open and the Swedish tennis magazine… Idols growing up were Stefan Edberg and Magnus Larsson… Hobbies are listening to music and playing guitar, would be working in sports or in a music band if he weren’t a tennis player… Would like to get involved with charity/community in Gothenburg…Best memories in tennis have been reaching the two doubles finals in Sweden (Bastad and Stockholm)...Wife, Malin.
