    • Heroes are his parents, Cecile and Christophe Gea.
    • Began playing tennis at seven years old in his small town of Velleron.
    • Had played football from a young age when there was an opportunity in town to play tennis. His parents, who did not play tennis, pushed him to play to partake in another sport. "I think it was a good choice, actually," Gea said.
    • Decided he wanted to become a professional around 10-11 years old.
    • Aged 14, left his house to practise with a private coach and French ligue. That was only one hour from his home.
    • At 17, left the south of France to go to Paris and practise with the French Federation until age 20, when he chose to build his own team and practise outside of France.

    • Tennis idol is Rafael Nadal. Favourite athletes are Ronaldo and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

    • Favourite superhero is Iron Man, movie is Top Gun Maverick, actor is Tom Cruise and TV show is HunterXhunter.
    • Favourite music group is the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
    • Hobby is taking ice baths.
    • Guilty pleasure is eating food. Favourite food is pasta.

    • Former Top-10 junior began 2026 season as No. 241, breaking into Top 200 in January and Top 100 at career-high No. 82 in August 2026 after winning 1st ATP Tour title in Los Cabos.
    • Advanced to 1st ATP Tour QF at 2026 Montpellier before defeating No. 20 F. Cerundolo for second Top 20 win and reigning champion Shapovalov to win 1st title in Los Cabos.
    • Lost 14 games in 6 sets to qualify for Grand Slam main draw debut at 2026 Australian Open, defeating No. 19 Lehecka in 1R for biggest win of career before losing to former champion Wawrinka in 5 sets.
    • Posted 23-8 Challenger record so far in 2026, winning 1st Challenger title in Noumea and reaching the finals of Zadar and Granby.
    • Peaked at No. 8 in juniors in 2023, advanced to 2023 US Open boys’ singles semi-finals, losing to Tien, and partnered with Djuric to reach 2023 Wimbledon boys’ doubles final.
