Nickname is “Dince”. Speaks Croatian and English.
Began playing tennis in Split, Croatia, motivated by Novak Djokovic, his idol.
Moved to Zagreb to improve his tennis.
Favourite shot is his forehand, surface is clay, tournament is Roland Garros and city on Tour is Paris.
Won the Roland Garros boys’ singles title in 2023.
Outside of tennis, enjoys the UFC and his favourite athlete outside of Djokovic is Kamaru Usman.
Enjoys music, specifically Balkan rap.
Off the court, likes playing video games.

Former World No. 8 junior earned first ranking point in March 2022, broke Top 200 in August 2023 and achieved career-high No. 124 in August 2025.
Made ATP Tour debut at 2022 Umag as a WC and returned to Umag to advance to his 1st ATP Tour QFs, losing to eventual champions Popyrin in 2023 and Darderi in 2025.
Earned biggest win of career over No. 30 Lehecka in 2023 Stockholm 1R as Q.
Qualified to make Grand Slam main draw debut at 2024 Australian Open, losing to his idol Djokovic in 1R as well as qualified for 2025 US Open.
Owns 65-38 Challenger record (3-3 in finals), reaching 4 consecutive finals from May-July 2025 and capturing titles in Zagreb and Bratislava.
Became the first Croat since Cilic in 2005 to win the boys’ singles event at 2023 Roland Garros.
