"When I was younger, I was always asking my father about the courts and everything. I like it. When I was traveling to tournaments and had some hours to myself in the bus, I took a book and was learning. Instead of going on social media, I did this."

    • Favourite subject in school was history.
    • Says that his best quality is that he's responsible and his worst quality is that he's sometimes lazy.
    • Favourite food is sushi, but guilty pleasure is candy.
    • Fitness trainer is Peter Hlavac.
    • Superstition: Listens to the same Slovakian rap song before every match.
    • Motivation: "I like to fight on the court and travel around the world and compete. I can't imagine life without tennis. If you do it as a professional, you want to be successful and make money for a living. Second of all, you want to do something that you will be proud of."
