Began playing tennis at age six with his parents at his childhood at Chiemsee in Germany. German Junior Championship in singles and doubles. Turned pro in 1987. After he enjoyed his career as a professional ATP tennis player between 1987 and 1996, Florian finished his marketing diploma at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Munich, at the same time started to work as Manager for a Bundesliga Club and later on as Sales Director for the leading celebrity network in Europe. Meanwhile he has 25 years of experience in the various facets of professional sports, media and talent management and has been Managing Partner of a leading independent communication and marketing group in Europe, where he is responsible for sport, music and entertainment. He successfully established the annual consumer survey “Germanys Sponsoring Index” as well as was responsible for the personal marketing of Felix Baumgartner during his historic Red Bull Stratos jump in 2012. Over his career he worked for various top corporate brands, leagues, teams, clubs and sports legends. He enjoys most US sports, golfing, skiing, traveling, hiking, soccer.
