    • Father, Alejandro, played professionally in 1980s; mother, Maria Luz; brother, Juan Manuel, also plays on ATP Tour; sister, Maria Constanza, won gold medal in field hockey with Team Argentina at 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
    • Began playing tennis at age 5 with his parents, who run an academy in Buenos Aires.
    • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in management through online courses with the University of Palermo. Previously studied at University of Buenos Aires after playing college tennis in 2018 at University of South Carolina.
    • Favourite shot is forehand, surface is clay, tournament is Wimbledon and city on tour is Rome.

    • Dream job is singer and favourite musicians are Bad Bunny and Bob Marley. "I sing all the time," says Cerundolo. "In the shower, when I go to my room, that’s my passion. I don’t have a favourite karaoke song, but I like reggaeton a lot... Ilike rock, I like pop. It depends on my mood."
    • Enjoys eating burgers and asado (barbecue).
    • Lists being smart as his best quality and being lazy as his worst quality.
    • Says that his secret talent and favourite school subject is math. "I love everything with numbers. I love looking at stats," says Cerundolo."It is not that I use it too much in tennis, but I probably discuss with my coach or my parents some stats that I’ve seen. Brain games are also fun for me."

    • Broke into Top 100 and achieved new career-high ranking 11 times in 2022, thenreached career-highNo. 19in June 2023, shortly after Lyon runner-up (l. to Fils) and Grand Slam-best 4R at Roland Garros (d. No. 8Fritz, l. to Rune in 5th set TB)
    • Moved on to grass in Eastbourne, where he won the title (d. Paul) and became 1st Argentine to win an ATP Tour grass title since Frana in 1995 Nottingham.
    • In July 2022 broke into Top 25 after defeating No. 5 Ruud en route to Bastad title and No. 8 Rublev en route to Hamburg SF.
    • As World No. 103 at 2022 Miami, became lowest-ranked semi-finalist in tournament history (since 1985) and 1st player to reach SF in his ATP Masters 1000 main draw debut since Janowicz at 2012 Paris.
    • Lost to countryman Schwartzman in 2021 Buenos Aires final as Q, 2022 Buenos Aires QF as Q and 2022 Rio de Janeiro SF as SE.
    • Owns 73-36 Challenger record (5-1 in finals), highlighted by 17-2 run to end 2020 season with titles at Split, Guayaquil and Campinas.
    • Father, Alejandro, also played pro tennis; younger brother, Juan Manuel, won 2021 Cordoba title; sister, Constanza, played for Argentine field hockey team that won gold medal at 2018 Youth Olympics.
