The Czech achieved career-high No. 206 on July 11, 2016 after capturing Marburg, GER Challenger title. Ranked between No. 206 and No. 300 each week since June 8, 2015. Earned 1st ranking point at age 17 on June 9, 2008 following 1R win at Karlovy Vary, CZE Futures as Q (d. Novy)
Captured 1st ATP Challenger Tour title in 1st final at 2016 Marburg, GER (d. Trungelliti). Boasts an 8-4 record in ITF Futures Circuit finals, most recently winning title at 2016 Most, CZE (d. Geens). Also owns 21 Futures doubles titles to go with 2015 Poprad-Tatry, SVK Challenger doubles title w/Jebavy (d. Gombos/Pavlasek)
Qualified for 1st Grand Slam at 2016 US Open (d. Eubanks, Barton and Nedovyesov in Q). Fell in qualifying at all 4 majors from 2015 US Open through 2016 Wimbledon
