    • Full name is Jeffrey John Wolf. Nickname is Wolfie.
    • Comes from a long line of college athletes.
    • Grandfather, Charles, played basketball, baseball and American football at Notre Dame, then went on to play for Cincinnati Reds (MLB) and coach for Detroit Pistons (NBA).
    • Father, Jeff, played basketball at Rollins College before playing pro tennis; mother, Brooke, played tennis at Miami University (OH); older sister, Danielle, played tennis at Ohio State University.
    • Joined his sister and played college tennis at Ohio State from 2017-19, posting 35-2 record as a junior and earning All-American and Big Ten Player of the Year honours.
    • Started playing tennis through mixed doubles on family vacations with his father, mother and sister. Says that pursuing a tennis career was a last-minute decision, while also playing soccer, basketball and baseball until sophomore year in high school. Was drawn to the "boxing mentality"of tennis where "you determine your own fate and only have to be better than your opponent on that day."
    • Favourite shot is forehand and surface is hard.
    • Lists his favourite tournament and city on tour as his hometown of Cincinnati.
    • Hit with Roger Federer at the 2018 ATP Masters 1000 Cincinnati: "He was giving me some advice and telling funny stories. It was a surreal experience. That meant the world to me. I got to have a normal conversation with an extraordinary human being. It just made me look up to him more. He's a regular guy who has unbelievable accomplishments. He's so down to earth. It made me want to keep working hard and be someone with influence like him."

    • Also enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, off-roading and surfing. Dream job is pro surfer.
    • Favourite actor is John Wayne (1907-1979), book is The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton (1967) and movie is Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) -- all of which came to fame long before his birth.
    • Fittingly says that his favourite school subject was history.
    • Likes his steak rare and says that red meat is his guilty pleasure.
    • Favourite TV show is Peaky Blinders and musician is Luke Combs.
    • Says that his best quality is being faithful and his father is his hero.​
    • Underwent 2 hernia surgeries in early-2021 and wassidelined for 7months.

    • Already ranked No. 272 when he turned pro in July 2019, then broke into Top 100 in August 2022 and achieved career-high No. 39 in February 2023.
    • Advanced to 1st ATP Tour SF and final of career at 2022 Florence (l. to Auger-Aliassime) after reaching US Open 3R as WC in both 2020 and 2022.
    • Upset No. 14 Tiafoe for biggest win of career and to reach 2nd ATP Tour SF at 2023 Dallas (l. to Isner). In July advanced to SF in Atlanta (l. to eventual champion Fritz).
    • Defeated fellow American Mmoh to advance to 2023 Australian Open 4R, falling in 5 sets to countryman Shelton.
    • Owns 78-42 Challenger record overall, including 5-1 in finals and 21-7 with 2 titles in Columbus, where he played 3 seasons of college tennis for Ohio State University.
