    • Ranking: The Argentine ended 13 straight years in Top 100 (2004-16) before announcing retirement on May 15, 2017. Spent 8 weeks in 2012 at career-high No. 10 after winning ATP World Tour 500 title at Hamburg (d. Haas).
    • Milestones: Winner of 9 ATP singles titles, including 8 on clay. Reached at least 1 final in 10 straight seasons (2007-16), winning last title at 2016 Houston as World No. 148 (d. Sock). Did not play in 2008 Vina del Mar singles final vs. F. Gonzalez after spraining left ankle in doubles final w/M. Gonzalez (ret vs. Acasuso/Prieto). Won last of 3 doubles titles at 2015 Doha w/Nadal (d. Knowle/Oswald). Earned 20+ singles wins in 9 straight seasons (2007-15). Celebrated 300th win in 2014 Shenzhen 2R (d. Pospisil).
