    • Parents are Andre, who works for a glasses company, and Laurence, who is a lawyer. Younger brother, Antoine, played tennis at University of Florida and serves as his coach; sisters, Dominique and Marie-Sophie.
    • Tennis idols growing up were Yannick Noah and Jimmy Connors.
    • Also looked up to Michael Jordan, Ayrton Senna and Alberto Tomba.
    • Favourite football team is Olympique de Marseille.
    • Wife, Karen; son, Ayrton.
    • Returned to Top 100 on 22 May 2017 after falling as low as No. 696 on 18 January 2016 following abductor surgery.

    • Finished 11 seasons in singles Top 100 (2004, 2006-14, 2017). Ended 2014 at career-high No. 25 in singles and career-high No. 5 in doubles after reaching Nitto ATP Finals SF w/Roger-Vasselin. Tied w/Mahut for year-end No. 1 in 1999 junior doubles rankings.
    • Played in 1+ singles final each year from 2008-14, going 0-10. Won 10 of his 12 doubles titles with countrymen. Owns 250+ victories in singles (273-297) and doubles (262-193). Enjoyedbiggest singles win of career over No. 1 Federer in 2009 ATP Masters 1000 Paris 2R.
    • Advanced to 2006 Roland Garros QF in singles. Captured 2014 Roland Garros doubles title w/Roger-Vasselin – 1st Frenchmen to win Roland Garros since Leconte/Noah in 1984. Also w/Roger-Vasselin, fell to Herbert/Mahut at 2016 Wimbledon in 1st All-French Grand Slam doubles final of Open Era. Won 1999 US Open junior doubles title w/Mahut.
    • Reached ATP Masters 1000 singles SFs at 2014 Cincinnati and 2017 Paris as WC. Won ATP Masters 1000 doubles titles at 2009 Shanghai w/Tsonga and 2013 Monte-Carlo w/Zimonjic (d. Bryan/Bryan after saving 7 MPs).
    • One of 8 players to win a match for France during 2017 Davis Cup title run, clinching QF in doubles w/Mahut (FRA d. GBR 4-1). Played in all 4 Davis Cup ties for France in 2014, including doubles w/Gasquet in final (SUI d. FRA 3-1). Also teamed w/Gasquet to win bronze medal at 2012 London Olympics.
