Personal: Kaes Matthew Van't Hof, son of USC graduates Betsy ('83) and Robert ('80) who was a three-year letter winner on the Trojan tennis team and the 1980 NCAA Singles Champion. Named 2004 Los Angeles Times Player of the Year, Orange County Register Player of the Year and CIF Player of the Year after compiling a 43-1 record in his senior year at Mater Dei High School in Newport Beach, California (his only loss coming at the hands of Sam Querrey). As a USC senior, this lefty was the PAC-10 Singles and Doubles Champion and the 2008 NCAA Doubles Champion with partner Robert Farah. His uncle, Erik, was also an ATP touring professional.
