    Began playing tennis at age six with his father, Roy, who was a former rugby player on Argentinean national team; mother, Marie, is a housewife...Has two sisters Deborah (19) and Rossana (28)...Father wanted him to play rugby, but decided to play tennis...Enjoys soccer (favorite team is Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires) and rugbylikes to spend time cooking out with friends...Best friends on Tour are countrymen Lucas Arnold and Sebastien Prieto...Favorite surface is clay and best shot is forehand...Coached by Alejandro Gattiker, who also works with Hernan Gumy and Marcelo Filippini.
