    1987- Played first Grand Prix at Philadelphia and defeated Luiz Mattar before
    losing in second round.
    Reached quarterfinals in doubles of 1987 Wimbledon Juniors. Winner of 1986
    USTA National 16s singles and doubles and reached the 18s singles final two years later. Reached semifinals of 1986 US Open
    Juniors. Member of USTA Junior Davis Cup team as well as two NCAA Championship teams at Stanford. Following a seven year professional career, Blackman served as head men's coach for American University from 1999-2004 and then as Director of The Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, MD. He was named Senior Director for Talent Identification and Development by the USTA at the beginning of 2009.
