Parents were not tennis players, but had a huge impact on his career by encouraging and supporting him, taking him to tournaments all over the southeast United States.

Was awarded WC to make tour-level debut at 2025 Wimbledon.
Owns 29-37 Challenger record (0-2 in finals), earning back-to-back finals at 2023 Charleston and 2023 Curitiba and boasts 223-80 record on ITF World Tennis Tour, including 41-9 in 2025, earning 13 career titles.
Played college tennis for University of Florida, becoming a 2-time singles ITA All-American.
Peaked at No. 9 in juniors in 2017, ending junior career with run to 2017 US Open boys' singles QF, losing to eventual champion Wu Yibing.
