Discovered tennis at age 3 when his father was watching Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros on TV. Says that he had a "shock" seeing Nadal and asked his parents to buy him a tennis racquet.
Began playing tennis against the wall because nobody in his family played.
Says that his parents are his heroes and Nadal is his tennis idol.
Favourite shot is ace, tournament is Roland Garros and city on tour is Melbourne.

Defeated countryman Mannarino in ATP Tour main draw debut at 2021 Geneva as 18-year-old WC.
Made Grand Slam main draw debuts at 2023 Roland Garros as a WC and 2023 US Open as a LL.
Owns 62-33 record on ATP Challenger Tour (3-4 in finals), winning titles at 2022 & 2023 Nonthaburi-2 as Q and 2024 Noumea.
