    • Broke into Top 200 in 2012 and Top 100 at career-high No. 76 in April 2026 at age 36 to be the oldest man that debuted in Open Era to break inside Top 100 for the first time, following run to Marrakech final.
    • Qualified and advanced to 1st ATP Tour QF and SF at 2018 Umag, 2nd QF at 2019 Sao Paulo and 1st final at 2026 Marrakech as Q, becoming oldest first-time ATP Tour finalist after ousting No. 19 Darderi in SF.
    • Also qualified 8 times at Grand Slams, including 2016 Roland Garros, where he earned biggest win of career over No. 10 Cilic in 1R.
    • Drove 10 hours from Barcelona to Paris with his grandmother Daphne after receiving LL spot at 2018 Roland Garros, then defeated Tomic in 1R.
    • Owns 279-218 Challenger record and is 7-11 in Challenger finals (after 2-10 start), winning titles at 2018 Barletta, 2019 Florence, 2024 Kigali-2, 2025 Lyon, 2025 Tulln, 2025 Targu Mures and 2026 Kigali-2.
