- Defeated 4-time champion Nadal en route to 2022 US Open SF, becoming that event’s 1st American men’s semi-finalist since Roddick in 2006 and returned to US Open SF in 2024, losing to Fritz in all-American match.
- Also advanced to Grand Slam QFs at 2019 Australian Open and 2025 Roland Garros, becoming 1st American man alongside Paul to reach last 8 of Roland Garros since Agassi in 2003.
