Started playing tennis at age 10 in Corowa, NSW.
Parents are Philipp and Melinda; brother, Oliver, andsister, Sophie.
Idols growing up were Pat Rafter and Mark Philippoussis.
Favourite surfaces are grass and hard courts.
Favourite shot is serve.
Favourite tournament is Australian Open.
Hobbies include most sports, music, movies.
Favourite team is Sydney Swans (AFL).
Chose tennis over Aussie Rules football at 16, moving toMelbourne to train. In 2011, switched sports to play AussieRules football for the Vermont Eagles in Melbourne, cameback to play tennis in 2012.
Awarded with Australia’s Newcombe Medal in 2015, which isgiven annually to Australia’s most outstanding tennis player.
Spends a lot of time in Richmond, VA, betweentournaments.

Reached 1st ATP World Tour singles SF at 2014 Newport (l. toKarlovic). Won 1st doubles title the following week atBogotá with countryman Guccione (d.
