    • Upset World No. 2 Medvedev for biggest win of career and 1st Grand Slam win in his Roland Garros main draw debut as Q in 2023.
    • One week before Santiago, saved 3 MPs to beat Davidovich Fokina in 2020 Rio de Janeiro 1R as WC – longest ATP Tour match at 3:50 since 2009 Madrid SF (Nadal d. Djokovic in 4:03).
    • Also earned 1st ATP Tour win of career on home clay, defeating E. Ymer in 2019 Sao Paulo 1R as WC, then reached 2nd ATP Tour QF at 2024 Rio de Janeiro.
    • Has a 99-74 Challenger record (5-2 in finals), winning 4 titles during 2023 season in Vina del Mar, Buenos Aires, Como and Genoa, beating 5 Italians en route to title.
