Elizabeth competed in high jump at UCLA and the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials. Has the fourth highest jump in UCLA history, came in third at U.S. Olympic Trials.
Loved sport from an early age. Parents played recreationally and would wait at the door for his father to come home from work so they could play in their driveway.
Parents recognised his enthusiasm and began taking him to Florida to train with Rick Macci for family vacations.
At age 12 began training with Zibu Ncube, former Zimbabwe Davis Cup team member, who lived near Boyer in Southern California. Ncube was the most instrumental coach in his career, helping him to No. 8 in the world in juniors.
Started leaving home with his coach to travel at 15, playing all the junior Slams , junior Davis Cup and Youth Olympics.
USTA’s west-coast training facility was only 45 minutes from his house, so spent time there with his private coaches and USTA National Coaches.
