Since making his Monte-Carlo debut in 2022, the No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings Alcaraz has tallied an 5-1 win-loss record at the tournament.
Alcaraz won the title in Monte-Carlo in 2025, when he rallied from a set down in three of his five victories en route to the trophy.
Alcaraz has made two appearances in Monte-Carlo. On his debut in 2022, he suffered an opening-round defeat to Sebastian Korda and won the title on his return in 2025.
Alcaraz has won eight ATP Masters 1000 titles.

Alcaraz holds a 103-19 win-loss record on clay courts, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, for a winning percentage of 84.4 per cent.
Alcaraz will face Argentine Sebastian Baez in his opener and then could meet Rio de Janeiro champion Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the third round. Alexander Bublik is a potential quarter-final opponent, while he could play fourth seed Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-finals. The Spaniard is seeded to play Jannik Sinner for the first time this season in the final.
